Device identification using optimized digital footprints

چکیده
The rapidly increasing number of internet things (IoT) and non-IoT devices has imposed new security challenges to network administrators. Accurate device identification in the increasingly complex structures is necessary. In this paper, a fingerprinting (DFP) method been proposed for identification, based on digital footprints, which use communication over network. A subset nine features have selected from transport layers single transmission control protocol/internet protocol packet attribute evaluators Weka, generate device-specific signatures. evaluated two online datasets, an experimental dataset, using different supervised machine learning (ML) algorithms. Results shown that able distinguish type with up 100% precision random forest (RF) classifier, classify individual 95.7% precision. These results demonstrate applicability DFP order provide more secure robust

Optimized Digital Optical Switch Using Proton Exchanged Lithium Niobate Waveguides
The main emphasis in developing DOS has been on achieving low crosstalk (CT). CT in the order of -30 dB is acceptable in conventional DOS and below that value is hard to achieve. Relatively low drive voltage (or power requirements) is also necessary to optimized DOS. This paper depicts the design of Y-branched digital optical switches (DOS) with optimized on-chip area coverage, reduced driving ...
متن کاملEmpathic Inclination from Digital Footprints
The large amount of personal data left by users on the Internet is a valuable source of information for improving the efficacy of profiling tasks. In particular, the data collected from social media can disclose personal habits, preferences and affective traits. The study is focused on the emphatic inclination of a subject, i.e. the ability to feel and share another person’s emotions, which can...

متن کاملWeb Footprints of Firms: Using Online Isomorphism for Competitor Identification
Competitive isomorphism refers to the phenomenon of competing firms becoming similar as they mimic each other under common market forces. With the growing presence of firms as well as their consumers and suppliers on the Web, we discover a parallel phenomenon of online isomorphism wherein the web footprints of competing firms are found to overlap. We propose new online metrics based on the cont...
متن کاملWellington: a novel method for the accurate identification of digital genomic footprints from DNase-seq data
The expression of eukaryotic genes is regulated by cis-regulatory elements such as promoters and enhancers, which bind sequence-specific DNA-binding proteins. One of the great challenges in the gene regulation field is to characterise these elements. This involves the identification of transcription factor (TF) binding sites within regulatory elements that are occupied in a defined regulatory c...
